This tech enabled research agency has created  dynamic platform and are on a mission to close the gap on public opinion research and offer clients deep insight at the speed of software. They are doubling their revenue every year with outstanding, high impact commercial and not-for-profit clients. They are looking for an experienced, energetic business development leader to originate new business and run an outbound sales operation that drives the growth of the business. You will own business development – originating new clients, coordinating the work of the research team in sourcing new business and in time growing the business development team.

Key responsibilities are to design and execute business development campaigns for target segments (insight teams at comms agencies, external affairs at corporates, policy and researhc teams at Think Tanks etc), coordinating business development activity, partnering with partnering with practitioners, own and develop client accounts you have originated, support practitioners in converting key accounts and take a lead on sales for major tenders and RFPs.

We seek demonstrable success in business development within a research or insights consultancy, with at least 5 years of successful year on year growth and specific experience selling into comms agencies, external affairs, charities or government. Previous experience in delivering market research or similar consulting services, creating strategic plans for pipeline targets that impact growth and proven leadership are all prerequisite for success in this role.

Working alongside researchers, data scientists, client lead, engineers and product specialists will give you a great chance of success.
