Our client is a long standing high quality research consultancy who are trusted advisors to a host well known auto brand owners. They enlighten them to what is going on the mind of the latent and real consumer. The manufactures vie for a place in our hearts by pursuing the ownership of a perceived expert space in both their communications and design strategies.  Be that as Innovators, engineering excellence or luxury for example. They always need to measure how they are doing at achieving these strategic goals and this company have experts in high quality quant and qual research to find out and steer these clients.

They even have a multi-client study in Auto to see what is important to car buyers, measuring the ebb and flow. Like for instance what we think of EVs and what is important to us. This of course changes all the time so it is an invaluable engagement platform.

We all have opinions on cars and it’s something we love to talk about. Some of our perceptions are based on a flimsy understanding of the facts and bias towards favourites but we are not always sure why and what is behind it. These classically forensic researchers get to the nub of it and help their clients make insight based decisions that take the risk out of NPD and design decisions.

They are having a buoyant period and after some unsettled times in the sector the opportunity is ripe for growth once more. We seek a similar auto specialist to join them at a director level to help there next phase of development. Someone who loves a car clinic and can moderate a group and to know what questions are salient in the segment to get something meaningful and useful back. We would also like this person to bring a quant understanding so someone who can design a study of the right size and scope to answer the questions. If you are either quant or qual get in touch but our ideal is a mixed methods ad-hoc researcher.

Our clients have a robust secure ownership structure and investment is available for any initiatives to grow so those people working with Auto clients with a management consultancy background should also consider this opportunity.

Chinese speaking or knowledge of working with Chinese manufacturers could be desirable but is definitely not essential.
